Guilin Liangjiang International Airport is 30 kilometers to Guilin city, having more than 60 airplane routes to domestic destinations and destinations outside of China. There are flights
to
Hong Kong,
Macau, Singapore, Thailand and Japan. There are shuttle buses from the airport to the city area, and the terminal station is Minhang Skyscraper (Minhang Dasha).
Shuttle buses are available 24 hours, with a ticket price of RMB 25 and 40 minutes" drive. From Minhang skyscraper (Minhang Dasha) every 30 minutes there is a shuttle bus from the city to the airport. So it is suggested
that you depart from the city to the airport two hours in advance, to make sure
you do not miss your flight. If you take a taxi to the airport it costs about RMB 80. By train:
It is convenient to reach other major cities by train from Guilin. There are two main railway stations:
North Guilin Railway station and South Guilin Railway Station (Guilin Railway Station). South Guilin Railway station is at the crossroad of Shanghai Road and South Zhongshan Road. This is the main railway station in the city center. North Guilin Railway Station is in the outskirts of Guilin, and tourists can take Bus No. 18 and 99 to arrive at this station. Note: Guilin is a route stop of long distance trains so it is very hard to buy sleeper tickets
on the trains traveling north. If you need to book return tickets please contact the reception center five days in advance (0773-5890299). During weeklong holidays you need to contact the reception center 10 days in advance. Anyhow it is always convenient to reach Nanjing and Liuzhou. By bus:
There are three bus stations in Guilin: Main Bus Station (Qiche Zongzhan), South of the city bus station (Chengnan Qiche Zhan) and North Gate bus station (Beimen Qiche zhan). Main Bus Station (Qiche Zhongzhan): 427 South Zhongshan Road, Guilin city.
How to get there: Take sightseeing bus No. 100, Bus No. 99, 2, 3, 10, 11.
There are buses to Guangxi Province, Guangdong Province. Buses to Yangshuo:
Buses to Yangshuo leave from South Railway Station, ticket price RMB 10 and the latest bus
is at 21:30. If you miss this bus you can go to the Main Bus Station and take the long distance shuttle bus
in the direction of Guangdong Province. North gate bus station (Beimen bus station) is in North Zhongshan Road and
the main destinations are Xing"an and Lingchuan. By Boat:
Main routes by boat are along Xiangjiang and Lijiang. Traveling along Lijiang the passengers can pass Wuzhou and reach Zhujiang.
The passengers can also reach the port cities directly, such as Hong Kong,
Guangzhou and Macau. City transport:
As a tourist city, Guilin has fast and convenient transportation. The free buses bring much convenience and benefit to tourists.
These buses depart between 9:00-17:00 although you will need to wait longer to take
a free bus. Guilin City 4A scenic area free tourist buses - when tourists travel on 4A scenic spots, as long as they buy the ticket from the appointed ticket sales office, then
tourists can travel by the tourist buses for free provided by tourism development company. The tourist buses depart from Qixingyuan every 15
minutes and stop at each attraction for three minutes. By taxi:
