In dry seasons, don"t go to Dadieshui Fall. You should choose the rainy seasons
to see the beautiful waterfall. Very spectacular! In July and August is the
harvest season of fruits, which are both cheap and delicious. *
Don"t worry about the altitude sickness in Kunming. The only thing you need to
be careful about is that the sunlight is very strong in Kunming. I used Sun
Block SPF30, but could not block the ultraviolet rays. *
Do not hurry through your journey in Kunming. Kunming is a place that requires
meandering. If you just walk with a fast pace though the city, then it will not
be as interesting. Get up early in the morning. Go to
the market to buy some fresh flowers. At noon have a stroll in the flower and
bird market. Enjoy afternoon tea at the bank of Cui Lake and chat with some
friends. In the evening have a barbecue. The total cost for such a day costs
less than 50Y. Or rent a house to live in the city
for one month. House Rent: 400Y. During this month visit other scenic spots in
Yunnan, and relax. It is a practical and economical plan. |
