Quzhou Introduction

Quzhou is located in the west of Zhejiang Province. It covers an area of 8836.52 square kms, with a population over 2,400,000. The city established in the Tang dynasty has long been known as the thoroughfare to the four provinces, Fujian, Jiangxi, Anhui and Zhejiang.

In 1994, Quzhou was approved as a famous city at the national level. Quzhou has been one of the 99 most famous historical and cultural cities at the national level in the country. We can use five words to describe the city: holy, mysterious, marvelous, beautiful and wonder. Besides, Quzhou is also one of the most important chemical industrial bases in China. A comprehensive industrial structure has taken shape, focusing on chemicals, building materials, machinery, food processing and also including paper-making, leather, electrical compliances.
