Day 1: Arrive in Guilin by train or plane.
Transfer to hotel, check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Seven Star Park. Stay in a local hotel
overnight. Day 2: Get up early and join the Lijiang River Tours bound for Yangshuo,
enjoy the scenery along the river, including the most famous Elephant Trunk Hill. In
Yangshuo visit the old-style village of
Fuli Village, maybe rent a bicycle and
hike up moon hill and take in the view from there. Stay in Yangshuo overnight. Day 3: Back to Guilin in the morning. In the afternoon visit the Reed Flute Cave and Brocade Hill. Move on to Nanning in the evening and
stay in a local hotel. Day 4: Visit the Guangxi
Provincial Museum in the morning, in the afternoon, go to the Yiling Cave. Return to Nanning and spend
one hour strolling in either Bailong Park
(Renmin Park) or Nanhu Park. Stay a
second night. Day 5: Go to the Detian
Waterfall in the morning. Then take a bus to Beihai, the coastal city.
Spend half day at the Silver Beach.
Stay in a Beihai Hotel. Day 6: Visit Weizhou
Island for half a day or more. In the afternoon, leave Beihai and Guangxi province for
some other destination. |
