fruits as the Shatian grapefruit, lychee and mango. Other than the mouthwatering fruits, there are many unique products which represent the
local ethnic minority cultures. Among them, the most famous are the Zhuang
brocade, Yao embroidery, shell carvings, paper umbrellas and folding screens
decorated with hand painting. Big cities as Nanning,
Liuzhou, Guilin
and Beihai have big
department stores. But the best places to buy souvenirs are those small cities like
Yangshuo, where some ordinary-looking
stalls or small stores offer good buys - after you have bargained well. |
