Sichuan is the largest and one of the most inaccessible provinces in China. This province is famous for its amazing collection of wildlife and diverse terrain. Over one- fifth of the nation"s rare animals and plants are found here, situated amongst lush bamboo forest or growing on harsh mountain terrain. Jiuzhaiguo is home to some of China"s most naturally beautiful and breath- taking scenery. Emeishan is another great spot to take in some wild scenery and catch a glimpse of unusual wildlife. China"s favorite baby, the panda lives in
the Panda Reserve.
Sichuan is also renowned for its HOT and SPICY food which is hugely popular throughout China. Authentic Sichuan cuisine is widely available and any visitor to the province must brave the chilies, grab a glass of water or beer and indulge in a fiery feast here! Ethnic Groups: Sichuan is populated by 52 ethnic groups. Over 4000 years of prosperity and isolation from the major cities in China have formed a unique local culture in Sichuan known as Bashu Culture.
